Intentional
Deep-Change
Whole-Life
Transformational
Those four words/phrases form the pillars of the best of mentoring. Anything less can certainly be a fine conversation…but not the best of mentoring.
The best of mentors, of any age, ethnicity, gender, economic status, educational achievement, health capacity, commitment to living life to the fullest will be first living their own lives from those four pillars. No matter one’s circumstances, the best of mentors are living examples of what it means to be as fully alive as possible within each of the 8 Dimensions of the Circle of Life, as proposed and lived out by all of us here at Leadership Design Group.
Who is all of us? For starters you can go to our web page, www.leadershipdesigngroup.com . Our Mentoring Development Team is always under construction…growing…living intentionally, as suggested above. We also have a remarkable LDG Board of Directors, who are doing the same, as they give guidance to our hopes, dreams and commitments to LDG’s future.
Our committed and focused Board of Directors is made up of…in alpha order by first name: Andy Braner, Becky Beach, Bo Teodoro, Dick Teodoro, Elaine Musick, Holly Worley, Janean Stripe, Luke Fenstermacher, Mark Beach, Scott Foster, Steve Musick, Tim Stripe. Wise and welcome ex-officio board members are Gary and Jorie Gulbranson. Our gifted and dedicated LDG Staff Team is made up of Diane Urbano, Judy Roberts, Tim Murphy and yours truly, Wes Roberts. Each of these men and women are living out what we propose with regard to being fully alive………..daily.
For you who read this blog post…
How are you doing with living an intentional life?
Where might you be able to be even more intentional with who you are and what’s taking place.
How are you activating, living into and out of that good desire for continuing deep change in your own days?
In what better ways do you need to making choices for the change that you know will bring more fulfillment to your days?
We all have work to keep doing to be as healthy as possible in all the dimensions of our lives. No one is immune from issues that will creep up on us. But…no matter our circumstances…........
How are you paying attention to all of your life, not just parts?
How aware are you of all of your life…your whole life?
Where are you needing to be paying better attention…this week?
Even in those necessary, intentional “baby steps” where are you hoping for, longing for transformation in your own very precious life?
What would transformation look like for you?
What would transformation sound like to you?
What would be the pleasant taste of transformation for you?
What would good steps of transformation feel like to you?
Hang with me here, in you choosing to experience some needed, welcome, further transformation in your own life, what might even be the fragrance of transformation for you?
Some dear friends are experiencing tragic health issues. Other are feeling the pain of strained relationships. Still others are way concerned about how long employment will last at current jobs. Others are in the rigorous chase of education, or raising a family, growing a business, or serving humanity in almost seemingly ‘God-forsaken’ places. And the downside effects of simply aging are chasing some of the rest of us.
Life…all kinds…….is happening daily.
How are you doing with who you are?
How are you doing with becoming who you long to be?
How are you doing with making the decisions that help you to live your life to the fullest…no matter what?
How are you doing with seeking the care and help of others who can care-filled-ly walk with you into the next chapters of your life?
Stay tuned to these Mentoring Monday blog posts from me. Keep up with our LDG blog posts for added insights from our engaged LDG Mentoring Development Team. Treat yourself to a wise and healthy future for the rest of your days.
