.......age is creeping up, and surprising us (at least me)...!!!

........122 days left until 2016........

Not strange,

and very true,

and just a fact of our family life,

(my side of the "family fence")

On this day in 1901 my mother was born.

Today, were she still alive,

she would be 114 years olde.

(.......whew!).

However, 42 years ago today her first great-grandchild was born, which means that this wonderful, beautiful addition to our family was my first great-niece, and it could not have been a better gift for my Mom's 72nd birthday.  :-)

Thus,

one more August 31 begins again.

PS...!

On both sides of our "family fence" we are blessed

with truly special nieces and nephews,

great-nieces and nephews,

great-great-nieces and nephews,

and even one great-great-great nephew.
