Every wonder what earth looks like from heaven?
Even in the midst of a rather lively Super Bowl, I am wondering that. It’s been a crazy game. Some time electric. Some times not.
With a sister-in-law moving toward passing through the thin veil, and wondering just when that will take place in these next days. We wonder at every phone ring.
With getting the news texted to us from a good friend in another state that an influential leader we both respect, and that leader’s wife, were killed in a car accident this afternoon in their town.
With Baltimore now celebrating and San Francisco not. Wondering what both coach’s parents are feeling now. One son. Winner. One son. Loser. I love the fact that the first thing the winning brother told the losing brother, "I love you." Good on 'em.
With spending a chunk of today looking over photos of all the years of our lives, my wife’s and mine. That was a unique journey through the times of our lives.
This has been a day of varying emotions from A to Z.
None of us know what a day will bring. For some happenings we are not prepared. For others, we think/hope we are.
Still hoping here that I get to make it all the way to 95. According to the countdown to then on my Big Day app, I have, on this day, 8888 days to go.
I’m ready for whenever. May it be then.
How long do you hope to be alive?
