It's here.
First snow fall of 2012.
Wondered what those white drops were on my face early this AM when I went out @ 5:17am to get the Friday Denver Post. Pesky things just kept coming like slight whispers that would not quit landing on my nose, my cheeks and in my ears.
I guess one of the weekend chores will be to bring in the bug stopper. Saw none hovering around this morning.
The snow today has a delicate beauty to invite one to slow down, pause and take a deep breath. Something we all should be doing any way as we approach this week end.
Thanks to Judy's care, and an ever greening thumb, our patio flowers have never been prettier. Always a bit of a shame to see them disappear after being daily cheered to grow. Evidently talking to your plants really does do some good. lol
Seasons. We all need them. Can't prevent them from coming down the pages of time, as the stories of each one of our lives is written breath by breath.
We can avoid the seasons, within and without, but if we do, life will not happen. There are crucial reasons for the cycle of seasons, in nature. Even in our own souls.
Let's make the most of winter this year. Without and within.
You and I may be surprised what will grow from the quiet and stillness and trusting that some vitally important seeds within are simply dormant. Waiting for Spring in nature. In our souls. Not dead. No way. Waiting to be nurtured in the near future.
I'm willing to give that a try. Are you?
Sure do hope so.
