2011 has slipped into history.
Thankfully.
2012 has birthed new hope.
Extra thankful...........!!!
The transition of time and purpose, according to God's plans, (...set in motion way before any of us arrived, but for whom, each one of us, the Creator did have us in mind before the foundations of the world were even formed...), a welcome series of moments, insights, thoughts, dreams, actions were forged in my soul from our recent family Christmas trip (...one, indeed, of a life time...).
Quietly...purposefully...thankfully...much has changed within my own soul, within the 8 dimensions of my existence in these recent weeks.
Much within me needed to shift and change.
Much.
The formative moments and experiences of these recent weeks is yet to be carefully pondered...held in sacred trust...shared when the time is right...by the design and imprint of life with God...breath by breath.
Some change is already known and evident, deep within my own soul. Other needed and desired change is yet to come...anticipated...most welcome. But...a new and necessary journey has quietly begun for this olde man. There is careful, creative anticipation for each relationship...close up...old...new...those yet to be met and made.
(...I'm smiling...even laughing...as that all sounds a tad mystical. Thankfully and frankly...it is an unfolding mystery...the result of some recent life-altering conversations, ponder times that have planted new seeds of purposefulness, that have brought forth a quiet re-birth of hope and clarity and creative focus...much needed...between now and whenever.......)
While away we were in a place where we unexpectedly got to observe sea turtles hatching and being released into the unknown ocean....endangered...yet determined. Created for their own purposes in the grand scheme of life...which may seem incidental to we humans...but all creation, I personally believe, has the Triune God's purposes in mind. Including you and me. We each have our own God-ordained and designed purposes. Watch on.......
On Day 1 of 2012 my heart is at rest...at peace...hopeful...with life issues both certain and uncertain...known and unknown...no matter what the waves of the hours of this new year will bring. Calm. Storms. Opportunities. Failures. Saddness. Joy. Release. Grateful.
Life.
I am ready. I hope you are, as well.
