For us...
...celebrating 60 years of marriage
for a very special couple in Judy's family,
Martha and Carl Shannon of Lake Elsinore, CA...way to go!!!
...and here's the whole "Sutter Tribe," originally from Glendale, AZ, (all last names changed, except for one), Lenore Fetz, Marjorie Darby, Martha Shannon, Mil Sutter and Judy Roberts. Judy's three older sisters are all in their 80s, with the one in lavender being the matriarch of the family at 88. Her brother is close to my age...and the Lady Judy, my amazing wife of 44 years, is the beautiful "baby" of the family, showing up 22 years after Marjorie.
...growing up we used to think that people married 50, or even 40 years, were really, really old. And now...6 more years for us to 50...and...16 years to match Carl and Martha's achievement of great grace.
We plan to do so.

Thanks for coming to our party. You were an important part of the affair. You are an important part of our life. We are not surprised at how the Lord is using you two. We look forward to being at your 50th. We plan to be there!
