...final threads in May's tapestry concern a topic I've been sifting through slowly, carefully, hopefully thoughtfully, in the last couple of weeks
...'tis a topic we don't entertain much these days
...at least I haven't, especially when over-busy, harried, hurried and tired
...what's with the final threads of May?
...lament
...there's a whole OT book about the topic
...what do you think it means to lament?
...not just a dictionary definition, but for you
...what might the term mean?
...is it just a sacred excuse to whine?
...is it an important (...but often overlooked...) part of our core development as a human, no matter our circumstances...or even our belief systems?
...is it something to be avoided.......or expressed?
...in a "be happy" world of false relational ideologies and uber cool belief systems that's supposed to reinvent church, or other systems that ultimately let out what we truly, really, yup-you've-got-it believe to be true about life and how to live it, is lamenting in any form legit for children all the way up to olders?
...is hip, foul language a cultural form of lament?
...in what ways am I afraid of lamenting and where it may take me within my soulish existence?
...is it healthy.....holy.......or hellish to even consider?
...just some of my questions in the past ten days
...stay tuned, as I'm not lamenting what I'm discovering, and will look forward to sharing some building, though embrionic and imcomplete, thoughts on the topic of lament with you
