The massive, months long re-filing project is drawing to a close...thank God!!!...and thank Judy!!!!!!! Going back through the archives of this blog, you will find I've posted quotes under the banner of "...what's up" and then numbered them. I'll continue to do that with quotes I find, quotes that impact me at the moment...and just might possibly do the same for you.
...I've also found a bunch of "buried treasure" in what we've gone through. Some of the "stuff" has been just that...stuff...as in, "Why did I ever file that in the first place" stuff. :) More than once Judy and I have laughed out loud, 'cause we don't even believe any more what we used to believe from some of what we found in years of old files (my fault...not hers...at all!).
Some of the "stuff" has been so cheesie (that's French for cheesey) as to be even embarrassing to me. That takes something to make me embarrassed.
Why in the world was "that" ever in the files in the first place I wondered over and over and oveer again as I tossed almost 2/3 of my files into the trash. I almost celebrated when the garbage guys came by today and took it all away.
Other items...quotes...thoughts...have moved me. I forgot that this "buried treasure" was even in existence. So...blogging friend...some of this treasure will surface from time to time.
You certainly have my permission to think some of it is still cheesy. We'll still be friends. :) And, dare I think that some of what will be shared may even touch you, at depth, as it did me...or at least encourage you, somewhat.
With that all said...here's something I found tucked down in one of the files.......from a man named Brian Andreas who does gift pictures, plaques and items called "Story People." Wildly and wonderfully creative is he...and thought provoking many times. He tells whole stories in a sentence or two...quite a gift. Most preachers/speakers I know should take lessons

Most people don't know there are angels whose only job is to make sure you don't get too comfortable, she said. They know how easy it is to fall asleep and miss your life.
